Maria Magdalena is unbelievable. The call and response in the chorus is so good.

Didn't vote for Eugene or Sandra but very happy to see them place. 20 songs just really wasn't enough.

I never really got into Sandra that much, post Arabesque, but should probably revisit her.

Yay for Sandra, "Maria Magdalena" was the first Italo tune (if you can call it Italo, I did vote for it anyway) I fell in love with when I was 13 or something! In case you didn't know, it was produced and co-written by her (then) husband Michael Cretu, who later on became the guy behind Enigma (of "Sadeness" and "Return to Innocence" fame). Dude had quite a career! I think he's also the keytarist in the video?

My favourite version of "Magic Fly" is the Tom Moulton mix of Kebekelektrik's cover version, it's more properly disco! The original has always sounded a bit too simplistic in arrangement.

I agree that it is too low, but so glad to see it here. Absolutely superb track on every level.
