I totally heard it as "Starbucks lovers," but I wasn't really paying enough attention to what she said before that to determine whether it made sense. "style" for instance is at least a "sound" even if it's just a total pastiche, i'm glad it's the next single

this is a great song that's let down by its production. the static in the background bugs me to no end.

Blank Space was not one of the initial favorites on the album but grew on me and has been such a welcome single and hit - part of it is starting to pay attention to and anticipate the lyrics.

I also totally hear it as "Starbucks Lovers" and so have a lot of my friends.

This is the song that singlehandedly got me ~into~ Taylor Swift.

just the song, I'd think. Her music's always been just fine to me but nothing that really engaged me all that much; idk what it is about this song but it just really snagged me.

Blank Space has grown on me hugely thanks to my daughters' obsession with it. To them Shake It Off is like Happy, it's fun, it's fine, but Blank Space is like Let It Go - they hang on every word, relish every syllable. After a zillion listens I love the pacing, the delivery, the humour, the rock-solid craft of it.

i heard "style" on the radio for the first time yesterday already, sounds great :D

I think the Singles Jukebox has shaped this list quite a lot over the last couple of years actually, to the better. Like there's this parallel hive mind with a load of voters over here and it's helped spring a lot of surprises, tracks with a big following but seemingly little ILM buzz.

Gone 180 on Blank Space and now I love itg, but I voted for Out of the Woods.

No matter my personal feelings on any song in the top 77, I love them each for keeping out Rude, All About That Bass and/or Fancy.

In the context of the album, the first two songs were always just setting up tracks 3&4 for me.

Lol I just watched the Sofi de la Torre video and the ad for it was that horrible Xmas Jammies family doing some kind of super bowl party rap.

Probably made the song sound slightly better by comparison.
