I don't read ILM as much as I maybe should, but is Kiesza expected to place? Hideaway or Giant in my Heart?

I have ctrl-f's the latter precisely once and the former zero

has a good shot at #1

Cosmic Slop, Wednesday, 21 January 2015 23:04 (eleven years ago)

(Kiesza)

Cosmic Slop, Wednesday, 21 January 2015 23:04 (eleven years ago)

Nah, not #1, but Hideway could possibly be top 20 (or it may miss altogether). Hard to say tbh.

Johnny Fever, Wednesday, 21 January 2015 23:05 (eleven years ago)

if the hideaway places i already know how bad that is so i dont need to play it, one less affront to personal welfare

saer, Wednesday, 21 January 2015 23:06 (eleven years ago)

lol i would personally enjoy kiesza being 78'd

dyl, Wednesday, 21 January 2015 23:14 (eleven years ago)

Since I wasn't expecting Out of the Woods to place (for whatever reason), I still think there are two Swifty songs coming ahead.

Johnny Fever, Wednesday, 21 January 2015 23:17 (eleven years ago)

Hideaway is dece, didn't vote for it

Style is the ILM-hive choice of Swift songs this hear I think.

a pleasant little psychedelic detour in the elevator (Amory Blaine), Wednesday, 21 January 2015 23:23 (eleven years ago)

Style is the hive choice, but I'd be surprised if Blank Space didn't come in ahead of it.

Johnny Fever, Wednesday, 21 January 2015 23:24 (eleven years ago)

I think I've liked every record posted today except the Phosphorescent one (mostly due to terrible production choices) and the Young Thug and Charli XCX one which I haven't heard.

Matt DC, Wednesday, 21 January 2015 23:26 (eleven years ago)

Think that Tkay Maizda song has found a better use for obnoxious midrange blare than I've heard in a long time.

Matt DC, Wednesday, 21 January 2015 23:27 (eleven years ago)

Really? Thought Style will end up highests of Swift songs, but not so sure now. I gave most of my Swift points to Clean tbh, which is without a chance of placing.

Xxp

i don't think phophorescent had one place?

dyl, Wednesday, 21 January 2015 23:27 (eleven years ago)

the Phosphorescent one

Wrong year. You mean Phantogram?

Johnny Fever, Wednesday, 21 January 2015 23:27 (eleven years ago)

Phosphorescent? Lol

I gave most of my Swift points to "I Wish You Would", but I strongly doubt that will place.

phosphorescent is the "song for zula" guy/band/whatever

dyl, Wednesday, 21 January 2015 23:32 (eleven years ago)

In a just world that should really place though, MarkoP!

But yeah, it won't.

Looking forward to seeing saer's ballot

groovypanda, Wednesday, 21 January 2015 23:34 (eleven years ago)

^^ otm. Though I doubt he handed one in.

Isn't it about time for alex in mainhattan to come in and tell us how all this music stinks, but not in the delightful way that sear has done it?

All The Craigers Gonna Craig Craig Craig Craig Craig (Craigo Boingo), Wednesday, 21 January 2015 23:36 (eleven years ago)

IMO the wrong Phantogram song was nominated; I'm much more of a "Howling At The Moon" fan but bowed to the gods of no-vote-splitting this year

Let me help you out Charlie XCX fan (DJP), Wednesday, 21 January 2015 23:38 (eleven years ago)

Oh wow I forgot all about Hideaway. Yeah that def belongs in the predix.

bae sremmurd (monotony), Wednesday, 21 January 2015 23:40 (eleven years ago)

Just getting back to the thread - Babylon System placed!

MikoMcha, Wednesday, 21 January 2015 23:50 (eleven years ago)

Any requests for novelty statistics tomorrow? I'm finishing off the code now...

seandalai, Wednesday, 21 January 2015 23:51 (eleven years ago)

This isn't code-related, but you should publicly share the names of people who voted for All About That Bass or Rude. j/k

Johnny Fever, Wednesday, 21 January 2015 23:55 (eleven years ago)

I voted for the former. Wish I had made it my #1

Cosmic Slop, Wednesday, 21 January 2015 23:58 (eleven years ago)

man doxxing voters of 'rude' why you gotta be so rude

languagelessness (mattresslessness), Wednesday, 21 January 2015 23:59 (eleven years ago)

lag∞n, Thursday, 22 January 2015 00:03 (eleven years ago)

nominations chart
whos noms got the most pts

nxd, Thursday, 22 January 2015 00:09 (eleven years ago)

that'd basically be dominated by all the people who nommed low hanging fruit as soon as the noms thread opened.

Tim F, Thursday, 22 January 2015 00:11 (eleven years ago)

Also, I didn't keep any track of who nominated what.

Johnny Fever, Thursday, 22 January 2015 00:12 (eleven years ago)

Is there a way of knowing the voters we have the most and the least in common based on ballot similarities?

the QT conundrum (Moka), Thursday, 22 January 2015 00:14 (eleven years ago)

this 'rude' song is the worst thing i've ever heard in my whole life and if it gets even close to the top 77 i'm never taking any of you seriously ever again.

quinoa: how's it spelt? (dog latin), Thursday, 22 January 2015 00:16 (eleven years ago)

so is it too late for tove lo (my #1) to place? :(

Mordy, Thursday, 22 January 2015 00:20 (eleven years ago)

Are you telling us you don't think Rude has the best guitar solo of the earñy 21st century, dog latin?

the QT conundrum (Moka), Thursday, 22 January 2015 00:22 (eleven years ago)

which tove lo did you vote for? I like "Habits" but always thought of it as a 2013 thing

bae sremmurd (monotony), Thursday, 22 January 2015 00:23 (eleven years ago)

fair enough - year of impact for me i guess did it place last year?

Mordy, Thursday, 22 January 2015 00:24 (eleven years ago)

What might be interesting - well, not really that interesting, but, you know - is seeing which track that eventually made the 77 was the last to be posted in the nominations thread.

bae sremmurd (monotony), Thursday, 22 January 2015 00:25 (eleven years ago)

low hanging fruit chart is a great name

nxd, Thursday, 22 January 2015 00:26 (eleven years ago)
