naw, "Move That Dope" is great. Amazing beat, fun verses, even Pusha's T's stupid terrible puns. If you don't want to SPEND THAT MONEY WITH CAAAASIIIIINO you can get out imo.

Yep, though (while I actually bought this on iTunes) I still haven't figured out whether I like it sincerely or not

when i went to maryland deathfest this year i stayed with a bunch of friends on a boat and one of the two channels we clearly received was zeus country, which played the same playlist of 20-30 country music videos every few hours. needless to say we thrilled every time they played "drunk on a plane"

again, it's on the verge of being fucking ridiculous (it IS fucking ridiculous); that's why I love country.

we also saw this video at least three or four times on the boat and it is my ghost no. 1 on my ilx tracks poll

I love the idea of Brad Paisley and his co-writers deciding what inanimate object or abstraction to write about. Toothbrush? Water? Camouflage? Ticks? It's like Talking Heads' Fear of Music without the heeby jeebies.

Nothing whatsoever wrong with Nashville, IMO. I'm not personally a fan of the dominant sounds of contemporary country-pop (the the limited extent I actually hear any of it), but that's not a criticism, simply an admission that my tastes are limited.

Catching up on today's batch, everything so far is good-to-great except for maybe TWOD and R&R and I don't expect to be into the Young Thug track.

I'm sympathetic to the suggestion that 41-60 is often the stretch with the most filler, even if I'm not sure it holds for every year or why it would be the case.

oh and on a plane is the worst place to be drunk

Style is the ILM-hive choice of Swift songs this hear I think.

Style is the hive choice, but I'd be surprised if Blank Space didn't come in ahead of it.

I think I've liked every record posted today except the Phosphorescent one (mostly due to terrible production choices) and the Young Thug and Charli XCX one which I haven't heard.

Think that Tkay Maizda song has found a better use for obnoxious midrange blare than I've heard in a long time.

Really? Thought Style will end up highests of Swift songs, but not so sure now. I gave most of my Swift points to Clean tbh, which is without a chance of placing.
