i kinda forget to check for new t.i. stuff for some reason

I forget to check for new T.I. stuff because he hasn't made a solid album since 2007 (and that is arguably being generous to t.i. vs. tip). It's half-exciting and half-frustrating when he's occasionally great on a track.

Can't wait to see The War on Drugs' album place in the top 10.

jesus, albums too, there is no way I'll manage that. I actually have flu now, it cant be a coincidence, its really draining listening to all these!

If I'd voted for a sixth Young Thug song it probably would have been "About the Money". I love the lived-in, churchy production and Thugger is great on it. "I'm going fishin' with these little bitty shrimp dips" is one of my favorite YT lines. But it suffers a bit from the same problem as everything T.I. has done in the past 5+ years, where yeah he's technically great but also comes off really soulless in a way he didn't used to.

when i was in texas last year they kept playing some uptempo remix of 'all about the money' on the radio..anyone have any idea what it could be?

Not a fan of the beat but I like seeing how they build those.

some horrendous uptempo remix of the track is getting play on the rhythmic station here lol

abt the money not one of the better thugger tracks this year imo, ti kinda sucks on it mostly

t.i.'s rapping on this is pretty vintage imo, i was shocked by how much i replayed this over the year

when i saw dude live i totally did the white-dude-at-an-indie-show-head/shoulder-while-standing-in-place-wobble-dance for the last 2mins of this song

ya idk maybe its just ti and thugs parts seem dissonant but not like in a good way

Oh yes! This is the best track of Pallett's album for me, didn't think it would place and found it odd 'song for five and six' did. Good job ILM. This reminds me of some other artist but I can't pinpoint it.

i saw dude do this live 2 separate times and both times I was like super super giddy, v highly recommended

love the dude but sadly i'm in the can't get with the vocals camp. like this more than the previous one that placed. it has a v dope video featuring owen's uncle iirc

never listened to OP before (or after) but i really liked this one

In this particular song the voice doesn't bother at all since the instruments are busy and upfront enough that you can concentrate on everything that's going on around it rather than on it.

always lumped him into the violinists with loopers who whistle camp so i was pleasantly surprised

I get the criticisms about Owen's vocals because he sings more like a classical singer than a pop singer but it totally works for what he does.

lorenzo mix of 'touch' was my number 1 / is the best thing ever but both are essential and need each other. follow-up was the excellent 'i know'.

Loving this Owen Pallett track. Really didn't think I enjoyed him all that much so I've dismissed most of the stuff he's done but, shit, "The Riverbed" is fucking great.

It was, it was, but I don't know that it'd beat out 'the Riverbed', I definitely thought of that as the more consensus pick.

I listened to In Conflict just enough this year to know how good it is, but not enough to pick out individual songs which I would've voted for. I'm glad other people did that work.
