Very happy to see Delorean Dynamite place. It's my favourite song on the album that isn't Inspector Norse.

I'm with J0rdan on the Katy B song. Didn't rate it the first couple of times I heard it but that Graham Norton performance was really something. The album campaign was so frustrating to see. There were a fair few potential hits on that album, Still wasn't one of them. Aaliyah was supposed to be the next single after that but seems like they gave up before it got a chance.

I didn't really care about anything on the Terje album that wasn't already on It's the Arps.

Only thing I voted for that's placed (so far) today is "Champagne Kisses" - I like the JW album a lot more than most other people seem to but agree this is a standout track.

Definitely itching to listen to a rapper in 2014 who's first instincts include sending a demo tape to Nick Sylvester

Think Javiera missed out in 2011 but she's placed every other year this decade. Couldn't pick between the two songs nominated so just made sure to put her album high.

i voted for rita, shamir, jessie ware and j-lo but i'm oddly less impressed with this batch - "hey qt" is a charmless "nyan cat", the katy perry song is ghastly and even though i love the haim song to death it feels like a 12-months-ago thing

one of the most intriguing things about shamir to me is his interest in country music - he's done covers for youtube of miranda lambert and brandy clark
