when this came out i really thought it was going to be the summer jam "fancy" ended up being

instrumentation of "good kisser" is just generally v idiosyncratic and invigorating, possibly i am led to think this by shirtless drumming usher

Somos Sur is huge

drums are so charming though, all those little percussive chimes

too bad the other Usher songs released this year were meh to garbage.

Yeah, Good Kisser had me excited for a year full of nice Usher songs, but it turned out to be the only one.

This reminds me that my own male R&B song of the year wasn't nommed (trey songz, smartphones)

Not my favorite track from the Ana Tijoux album, but nice to see her show up here. And "Good Kisser" is fantastic.

Good Kisser is kinda wack; production strikes me as a timberlake toss off. can't get past the constant sniggering high school voice of evil usher on my shoulder saying "you know, 'kissing'? like blowjobs? haha it's about blowjobs"

Tijoux is awesome and somos sur is a reasonable standout.

I really recommend listening to the full album if you enjoyed that song. It's more of the same sort of thing but it doesn't get boring.

I honestly hope there's no more Nicki tracks, I'd prefer more diversity and there's probably going to be a bit Taylor Swift yet to get through.
