Whenever I see the "lock the taskbar" option in windows I sing it to the tune of Rock the Casbah.

See, it happened again: There was a headline on Cleveland.com reading "Surgery remove's Ohio snake's toxic, swollen venom gland" and I was all "toxic swollen venom gland, doo dah, doo dah . . ."

i've been speaking to a client called C4th1 St1rl1n9 lately and wondering why I get the Altered Images song 'Happy Birthday' stuck in my head.

Not quite the same thing, but while we're at it:

For years, quite puzzlingly, I found whenever I'd see the word 'bacon' written down, I'd hear it sung in the voice of Neil Tennant.

It just occurred to me that this is because my mind is conflating the word 'bacon' with 'taken', specifically in the way it gets sung on 'How Can You Expect To Be Taken Seriously'.

Now I'm thinking about copyrighting a vegetarian meat product.

Whenever I saw the poster for the Strangers on a Train play that was on a while back I always sung it in my head to the tune of either 'Strangers in the Night' or 'Riders on the Storm', depending on the mood I was in.
