on that same note pretty sure Jeezy's a Respected Elder of hip hop now, but I'm so old I remember when his simple flow/rhyming same words together/yeaaaahhhs were ruining hip hop. tbf though he has changed his rapping style some starting with The Recession or so, for better or worse.

I'm not sure who's stepped in to fill the ruininghiphop void these days, I'm not sure if it's Thug actually, and with Eminem fans Wayne seems to be the root of all evil for some reason (cuz they were on a few tracks together where Em rapped all impassioned/constipated-like, maybe) but yeah, dunno.

Bay Area Rapper Berner Hips Wiz Khalifa To Trippy Stick
Bay Area rapper “Berner” is known to most Californians as more than just a good underground Hip Hop artist. To them, he’s known as one of the finest marijuana / club dealers on the West Coast. His name carries weight on the streets of North California and of course, rapper Wiz Khalifa, is one of his compadres. Recently, the two hooked up to bring Wiz and the Taylor Gang family into Berner’s world, upgrading the Pittsburgh stoners to the latest smoking technology.

Unaware of the Trippy Stick in 2011, Wiz Khalifa and the Taylor Gang were educated to the new stoner technology by rapper Berner during a California trip. The Bay Area rapper and business mogul tells Wiz Khalifa, Chevy Woods, and the rest of the Taylors how to use it. Berner also shows them the accessories of Trippy Sticks along with some of his favorite features.

Around the 3 minute 30 seconds mark of the Trippy Stick video, Wiz Khalifa takes his first hit of the hash oil vaporizer. For 13 seconds Wiz sucks in the Hash smoke until choking a little then dancing around in stoner-joy. The Pittsburgh marijuana smoker holds in the vapors for another 10 seconds, releasing the lung-caged fumes at approximately 3 minutes and 53 seconds.

“That High” says Wiz Khalifa after 1 toke on the Trippy Stick. “This $h*t is real” he continued.

The end experience of Wiz Khalifa, thanks to Berner, is that a Trippy Stick is a necessary tool for new age stoners. As a gift Berner gave Wiz Khalifa his own personal stick and 5 hash oil clips.

i was gonna say that berner is def a drug dealer. when i was backstage at wiz's tour in jersey he showed up at one point late in the day carrying big black duffle bags and quickly disappeared into some tour bus.

There's a few songs that've made urban radio way more interesting to me lately & "Lifestyle's" definitely the top dog of that group

I'm not "glad" "Stoner" never really popped off in that way cuz any shine Thug gets is good imo but not gonna lie I mess with this way more, that one was just kinda goofy in not the best way

I'm not 100% on this but I dig old-school West Coast stuff a lot & in addition to Thugger just killin it (killin it!) "Lifestyle's" beat kinda gives me that feel

"Stoner" completely blew my mind when I first heard it. I thought it was like 5 different rappers.

He probably kinda goes in on it but honestly the beat's a little dinky (not GIRLY mind it's so un-girly) for my tastes

Actually both the "Stoner"/"Danny Glover" "OMG Thug's bout to blow" singles didn't do it for me while "Lifestyle" is obviously the greatest Rich Gang cut thus far. And I say that as someone who liked a handful of songs on the OG Rich Gang album lol

love all of 1017 thug classic album imho

theres a no drops vers out there which is def worthwhile fwiw, never got into any of the i came from nothings really def some cool moments on there but his style feels pretty nascent and the wayne jocking kinda jumps out at u

1017 Thug is def. not classic but it is good & yeah the birth of current-day Thugga far as I can tell

100% CLASSIC EVERY SONG IS GOOD AND THERE ARE LOTS OF DIFFERENT TYPES OF SONGS AND THEY COMPLIMENT EACH OTHER

only complaint is it wouldve been cooler to have some pro space age mastering its almost completely mid range free and thuggers voice can get kinda buzzy and irritating when its expressed just through that tinny high end
