Nice to see Remy back

ruffalo soldier (upper mississippi sh@kedown), Tuesday, 26 August 2014 00:47 (eleven years ago)

the depth of bibby's voice and the youth in his face is like almost on the level of the "chocolate rain" guy

birdman junior dad (some dude), Tuesday, 26 August 2014 00:53 (eleven years ago)

dig the Ty Dolla $ign tape besides 2nd and 3rd tracks & Mustard track (still hating)

also not sure how much attention I was paying but I know ppl were talking about tone of dude's lyrics & I agreed w/r/t certain songs but this tape seems less that way

R&B 2014

birdman junior dad (some dude), Tuesday, 26 August 2014 03:53 (eleven years ago)

lol my bad

nova, Tuesday, 26 August 2014 04:03 (eleven years ago)

possible "Chris Brown is a rapper" media moment there

nova, Tuesday, 26 August 2014 04:03 (eleven years ago)

Nah. For some reason a lot of people seem to associate what Ty's doing with hiphop rather than with R&B, even though he clearly doesn't rap.

about halfway through this new Jeezy album, not promising so far. Dude's music has become ridiculously generic considering how much I still like The Inspiration, how'd dude let Officer Rozay pass him up like that

nova, Wednesday, 27 August 2014 04:14 (eleven years ago)

sick Mike Will track tho although part of it makes me think of Jeezy attempting an 808s song lol

nova, Wednesday, 27 August 2014 04:20 (eleven years ago)

damn there is a quantum leap in quality from the first to the second half on this (deluxe,) pleasant surprise

lol with Game + "Boosie Badazz" according to iTunes it's like the name-chopping/changing allstars here tho

nova, Wednesday, 27 August 2014 04:55 (eleven years ago)

Drumma Boy kinda snitching on Jeezy? http://www.hiphopdx.com/index/news/id.30439/title.drumma-boy-speaks-on-being-prepared-for-jeezy-arrest

do any of you guys keep up with these guys

schlump, Monday, 1 September 2014 05:20 (eleven years ago)

I checked them out a couple years back because of their Odd Future and Mykki Blanco (ha) connections but they seemed pretty boring. Idk maybe they've gotten better, don't really care enough at this point to find out.

The Reverend, Monday, 1 September 2014 08:33 (eleven years ago)

the gangsta boo/la chat album from 3 months ago that i must have missed you all hyping is the rap album of 2014, everything i want

lex pretend, Monday, 1 September 2014 15:09 (eleven years ago)

I've been jamming it since deej said something about it to me and brainwasher in person but we were keeping it as secret goon cabal knowledge so

The Reverend, Tuesday, 2 September 2014 06:21 (eleven years ago)

Now you're messing with a (President Keyes), Wednesday, 3 September 2014 15:40 (eleven years ago)

xp It's a ref to the most ref'd part of the song

You ain't see anything on twitter?

, Wednesday, 3 September 2014 15:42 (eleven years ago)

I guess you been too busy listening to Gangsta Boo

, Wednesday, 3 September 2014 15:48 (eleven years ago)

ha, i had seen plenty of the shmoney dance but that dude catching a body made me laff

alpine static, Wednesday, 3 September 2014 16:40 (eleven years ago)

i like the new rae sremmurd

kinda thought they might just be a glorious one hit wonder

r|t|c, Wednesday, 3 September 2014 21:56 (eleven years ago)

they probably will be

le goon (J0rdan S.), Wednesday, 3 September 2014 21:57 (eleven years ago)

yeah i can't see "No Type" being as big a hit but who knows what else they got, i like these kids

some dude, Thursday, 4 September 2014 01:09 (eleven years ago)

i dont remember if i said this but it strikes me as so strange that they rap about extendos

rap steve gadd (D-40), Thursday, 4 September 2014 01:12 (eleven years ago)

i still don't get why you think that. they were rapping about lean and fighting people on "no flex zone" idk why you think them rapping about guns is some huge leap

le goon (J0rdan S.), Thursday, 4 September 2014 13:36 (eleven years ago)

people want to liken them to kriss kross or whatever but it's not like they were on some "i'm lovable huggable type of guy" shit on "no flex zone"

le goon (J0rdan S.), Thursday, 4 September 2014 13:38 (eleven years ago)

Kendrick verse on Jeezy "Holy Ghost" remix is sick

actually song's sick in general, dude got some good soul beats on that album

nova, Thursday, 4 September 2014 13:44 (eleven years ago)

I'd kinda checked out of radio for a minute but heard this on the way home from work yesterday. felt pretty cool

nova, Thursday, 4 September 2014 14:02 (eleven years ago)

It's the song of the summer for me tbh

, Thursday, 4 September 2014 15:34 (eleven years ago)

There's no big leap from casual drug use to rapping about have guns as a teenager? Ok dude

rap steve gadd (D-40), Thursday, 4 September 2014 16:17 (eleven years ago)

like the third line of "no flex zone" is "niggas throw sets and gang bang" idk man

le goon (J0rdan S.), Thursday, 4 September 2014 16:47 (eleven years ago)

casual drug use to guns was a pretty common leap when I was a teen--but then I was in Arizona.

kids are around gang banging thats not as weird, but its markedly different than than two prepubescent kids talking about extendos out the roof ... the other big rap song to mention extendos i remember from this year is by stitches

rap steve gadd (D-40), Thursday, 4 September 2014 17:24 (eleven years ago)

i think they're almost 20 btw

le goon (J0rdan S.), Thursday, 4 September 2014 17:28 (eleven years ago)

When did Jeezy drop the 'Young'

, Thursday, 4 September 2014 17:36 (eleven years ago)

'no type' is v promising i think... the hook is non-obvious, addictive in a slyer way to 'nfz', quite impressively constructed

kinda get the impression they might be savvier or more studious than they let on, to tie in with what deej is saying

r|t|c, Thursday, 4 September 2014 17:46 (eleven years ago)

i think swae lee is the obv star of the two and i wouldn't be surprised if he had a solo career of some sort (also since he as a co prod credit on "no type")

le goon (J0rdan S.), Thursday, 4 September 2014 17:53 (eleven years ago)

not big on this song or anything but shmurda kills it imo

is there anything else of his apart from the big 2 i should hear
