octobeard, Sunday, 17 August 2014 01:09 (eleven years ago)

Was the conspiracy theory that he was actually behind Burial's music ever discussed?

austinato (Austin), Sunday, 17 August 2014 01:45 (eleven years ago)

Josh in Chicago, Sunday, 17 August 2014 18:00 (eleven years ago)

DERE is no DERE DERE (Stevie D(eux)), Sunday, 17 August 2014 18:01 (eleven years ago)

Graffiti sprayed on a hill in Derbyshire.

Far as I know, deep web addresses get assigned randomly, so the album might be called SYRO simply because the address he got started with syro. and he though it was a cool name for it.

This is the sort of significance I could extract from quick search for the song titles:

CIRCL could stand for Computer Incident Response Center Luxembourg.
U473 is a Unicode character. It’s also a type of Nazi German U-boat.
Minipops are little pixel dudes.
180db is where death of hearing tissue begins.
Produk is Hindi for product.
Aisatsana is Anastasia spelled backwards.

Has there been an Aphex Twin minipop art? number 67? otherwise then it's probably referencing the show.
