― odd proggy geezer (Moodles), Tuesday, 8 July 2014 20:00 (eleven years ago)
bring it on.i'm not going to back it, though.
i'm not going to back it, though.
She has standards guys
― chr1sb3singer, Tuesday, 8 July 2014 20:05 (eleven years ago)
palmer's "i'm not saying it's good but it's what the market allows and that's good" argument often runs into itself passing the other way round
― Look at this joke I've recognised, do you recognise it as well? (forksclovetofu), Tuesday, 8 July 2014 20:07 (eleven years ago)
ANYONE IS ALLOWED TO ASK FOR ANYTHING.
THAT'S THE DEAL.
What a convenient morally consistent position for her to take.

― sinister porpoise (upper mississippi sh@kedown), Tuesday, 8 July 2014 20:28 (eleven years ago)
What if someone was raising that money to make a really good potato salad to feed Palmer on tour?
― Josh in Chicago, Tuesday, 8 July 2014 20:40 (eleven years ago)
She would just spit the potato salad into a glass vase to re-sell to her fans via Kickstarter OMG THE SNAKE IS EATING ITS TAIL
― chr1sb3singer, Tuesday, 8 July 2014 20:42 (eleven years ago)
I think you mean THE SNAKE IS EATING ITS POTATO SALAD
honestly though the only thing that makes me angry about the potato salad Kickstarter is that potato salad is fukkin gross
― Star Gentle Uterus (DJP), Tuesday, 8 July 2014 20:50 (eleven years ago)

― chikungunya manatee (Sufjan Grafton), Tuesday, 8 July 2014 20:57 (eleven years ago)

― Daphnis Celesta, Tuesday, 8 July 2014 21:11 (eleven years ago)
Once I made potato salad and sold it at a stand in Boston. I had a sign that simply said "pay what you want." And you know what? I made $5 that day, and that was from more than one person (not including my folks; thanks for the recipe, mom!). At one point a homeless man ambled up, took a cup of potato salad, and with an apologetic look on his face, dropped a solitary nickel into my bucket. I looked him straight in the eyes and mouthed the words: thank you.

― famous instagram God (waterface), Tuesday, 8 July 2014 21:12 (eleven years ago)
considering dadaism wasn't solely a product of german speaking ppl, i think you are wrong
i have had good potato salad, but it was good because there was no mayo in it
― sarahell, Tuesday, 8 July 2014 21:13 (eleven years ago)
dadadaism was solely the produce of exactly 3 german speaking ppl
― chikungunya manatee (Sufjan Grafton), Tuesday, 8 July 2014 21:16 (eleven years ago)
and they sold out to volkswagen

― sarahell, Tuesday, 8 July 2014 21:20 (eleven years ago)
I love mayo-free potato salad so much
― polyphonic, Tuesday, 8 July 2014 21:21 (eleven years ago)
amanda palmer has more redeeming qualities than mayo
― sarahell, Tuesday, 8 July 2014 21:22 (eleven years ago)
i am starting a religion in which mayo is the only path to redemption
― chikungunya manatee (Sufjan Grafton), Tuesday, 8 July 2014 21:23 (eleven years ago)
the mayo is made with easter eggs and oil of catechumens
― chikungunya manatee (Sufjan Grafton), Tuesday, 8 July 2014 21:24 (eleven years ago)
mayo: god's jizz
― sinister porpoise (upper mississippi sh@kedown), Tuesday, 8 July 2014 21:33 (eleven years ago)

lol, this is great. He's about to get in trouble with the British contingent for maligning spastics in his Blurred Lines parody though.

CBC woman-beater Jian Ghomeshi is still going to be Amanda's guest at her upcoming Toronto show: https://twitter.com/amandapalmer/status/526603935260610560
― kate78, Monday, 27 October 2014 06:46 (eleven years ago)
AFP just gets off on zigging when everyone else zags. It makes total sense that she'd go through with this shit.
― Johnny Fever, Monday, 27 October 2014 06:52 (eleven years ago)
he seems to be saying that relations between him and the ex-girlfriend were always consensual so (unless you have access to information that others may not have) I'm not sure where you're getting "woman-beater" from
― goth colouring book (anagram), Monday, 27 October 2014 08:23 (eleven years ago)
I don't know why you'd unilaterally accept his account over
The three women interviewed by the Star allege that Ghomeshi physically attacked them on dates without consent. They allege he struck them with a closed fist or open hand; bit them; choked them until they almost passed out; covered their nose and mouth so that they had difficulty breathing; and that they were verbally abused during and after sex.
A fourth woman, who worked at CBC, said Ghomeshi told her at work: “I want to hate f--- you.”

plus the blind item essay about him repeatedly refusing to stop touching her on a not-really-first-date, and the coworker who wouldn't give details about his dating life except that he was "into breath play"
― Starland Vocal Gland (sic), Monday, 27 October 2014 11:34 (eleven years ago)
well, it's been awhile since AP got to write lengthy blog posts defending herself against the horrible people who criticize her
― you walk on the street, grab the rock (President Keyes), Monday, 27 October 2014 13:22 (eleven years ago)
Why are you even talking about some CBC interviewer? You should be talking about Amanda Palmer! Follow her lead!
― Josh in Chicago, Monday, 27 October 2014 13:49 (eleven years ago)
It's promising to be a breathtaking show.
