I think every single song on here except fucking "Good Time" ended up growing on me well beyond what I imagined was possible on my first listen. So, actually, this album rules more than it did before.

Does anyone know who did the version/remix which loops the "I threw a wish in the well/Don't ask me I'll never tell" bit over and over with a super bright production thing going on (kind of bubblegum bass-y), techno build dynamics, breakdown etc. I heard this out at a club and it was amazing then I somehow streamed it somewhere but misidentified the track and now I can't find it. Got a feeling it's a UK producer wot did it, maybe? Help!

To me it sounds like Taylor, in that a lot of stuff from her last album reminded me of stuff from Carly Rae Jepsen's last album.

I mean it also doesn't sound too far off from how Tegan and Sara's last album sounded.

I love that this deals with my two favourite emotions in pop music, at once, namely "I really really really really really really like you" and "do you want me too?" - the two most relatable feelings possible.

I love the Taylor-esque details in the verse lyrics but I think this is stronger because it doesn't come with the baggage of the cleverness of inevitable examinations of authorial intent - not to say something like "Style" doesn't stand on its own merits but the simplicity of this feels a lot more universal in its scope.

i think the taylor-esque details are actually crj-esque details. this song is definitely of a piece with her other liminal-state-of-wanting songs ("call me maybe," "tonight i'm getting over you")
