Didn't mean to claim that "freak" had anything to do with queer culture (it obviously does not), but it is a word that people occasionally claim for themselves (and, more frequently, have tossed at them). "Appropriation" was the wrong word, though; they're not stealing anything, just (mis)using it without any understanding of any of the potential baggage.

I haven't listened to the song or watched the video but I'm pretty sure from the still that "freak" in this context means "freak in bed"
