Just a free mixtape bt Thugga Mane La Flare ws OK at first but by like four tracks in just boringly halfassed

Haven't been able to get it this yet either; a lot of it is a disjointed mess. Thug doesn't sound sharp at all, and even when he does he's on such a different wavelength from Gucci it just doesn't work.

"Siblings" is a nice throwback to the ICFN era, so much so that it might be a leftover from that era

"Thug doesn't sound sharp at all" i'm saying. Moments here I like though, and the beats are good -- def. better than that Bloody Jay collab tape which I got nothing out of

it is cool to have a new rapper (well I didn't get into 1017 Thug 'til after the fact) I'm genuinely excited about though, cuz depending on possibly past-their-prime legends is bad for your health

new mixtape sounds pretty good to me. I'm only just starting/trying to get into Young Thug though. but this stuff is a lot better than "Stoner" to me. "Don't Look at Me" is sick.

I've warmed to the opening stretch after hearing it on actual headphones. Comes out pretty strong, and as a whole it's leaps above Black Portland. But the final half still feels like Gucci verses copied and pasted onto Thug tracks, or vice versa

Gucci cracking his iPhone screen is my favorite so far

I think they have p good chemistry: Gucci all laid back and repetitive, Thug restless, all over the place. It makes more sense than most Gucci collabos.

I like "OMG BRO." the other "OMG" not so much

what's up with there being more tracks listed on the back cover image vs. the actual download too, those other three songs actually exist

TBH i think that song is better in the context of the tape than as a solo track.

Ha, I'm just the opposite. I'm too OCD for this kind of thing; the incomplete version on the tape is going to bug me now

i'm totally mystified by the middling reaction this tape has gotten .. way better than the bloody jay one imo

The second OMG is ridiculous, can't even understand how those sounds come from a person

agree this is better than bloody jay, but that ain't saying much

shout out to this tape's wildly varied volume level, makes for a solid listening experience

1017 Thug 2 is pretty OK, too—strong hooks and coherent verses all over that one—but it feels like Thugga is really beginning to suffer for lack of quality control and orderly management this year.
