puple prijan (lag∞n), Friday, 24 January 2014 16:03 (twelve years ago)

gr80 you're better than to describe people being a little worried about laughing at at train wreck as "concern trolling," cause for concern seems p clear

second set all dead boys covers (underrated aerosmith bootlegs I have owned), Friday, 24 January 2014 16:06 (twelve years ago)

that's true but i still think NPR should be better than posting a craig furgeson monologue from 2007

feel like the fallen-child-star narrative is the dominant western media narrative of the 21st century. it's a story that is always happening.

Ayn Rand Akbar (Shakey Mo Collier), Friday, 24 January 2014 16:44 (twelve years ago)

In the list of people in the world to be concerned about, he falls near the very bottom. And leaving him alone is the opposite of what he wants.

sisilafami, Friday, 24 January 2014 17:49 (twelve years ago)

They will. Definitely.

longneck, Friday, 24 January 2014 18:53 (twelve years ago)

I wouldn't worry about Bieber yet - he's not some strung-out drug addict, just a typical dumbass teen (with too much money) who likes to party. I remember another rich dumbass from Ontario who once got arrested in Florida for driving drunk and in possession of weed while still a young man, but that little setback didn't prevent him from turning his life around and growing up to become MAYOR OF TORONTO!

imago draggin' (The Reverend), Tuesday, 11 March 2014 21:28 (twelve years ago)

i only listened to the 10 songs parceled out as singles but i couldn't get into it, his singing is still way annoying and the production seemed more tasteful than good

some dude, Tuesday, 11 March 2014 21:30 (twelve years ago)

four months pass...

what's hatnin and all that matters convinced me to spend more time digging into this album... the latter is as good an rnb song as i've heard this year.

it's aaliyah-era timbo pastiche production which is catnip to me tbf but biebs is pretty expert on it

dyl, Tuesday, 25 August 2015 18:25 (ten years ago)

Definitely interesting, plus some funny Bieber quotes. His statement about his turning 21 and his recent experiences and its influence on his singing as if he now sounds like he's a grizzled old blues singer...Some other ones too about the synth sounds and Poo Bear

curmudgeon, Tuesday, 25 August 2015 19:05 (ten years ago)

has aged into his roided-up body pretty nicely

skateboards are the new combover (Dr Morbius), Wednesday, 26 August 2015 03:04 (ten years ago)

smh so hard when Bieber talks about how "expensive" the sounds are in that vid. also his new single is out. pretty underwhelmed considering I do enjoy "where are you now."

it's kind of slight... doesn't take up much space. i don't know, it's not bad. it could grow on me.

dyl, Friday, 28 August 2015 06:00 (ten years ago)

otm, I was pretty surprised, I don't like what he does but the way he talks about it is interesting. diplo sounds like a middle manager explaining how the supply chain works
