weird -- i just looked this up to say i think it's the most formulaic song on the album which sounds better than i remember.

it's kind of radio friendly. still that chick + migrate + side effects.

The single choices from this album ("Touch My Body" aside, maybe) have been wack.

Cruise Control, Migrate, For The Record, OOC, Side Effects>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>the stuff she's released. Its all pretty weak and is making people think she can't pull of another Emancipation of Mimi when she really has it in her.
You guys are right the good stuff on the album is too summery, she could keep squeezing out songs relentlessly like Pon de forehead but you're OTM 'That Chick' is dead. So onwards and upwards (Hopefully)
Question; do you think Nick Cannon will be a 'surprise guest collab' on her next album? Better question; will it be good?

in fact when i heard that "I'll Be Lovin' U Long Time" remix with LL i instantly thought "wow, this makes much more sense than the version with T.I."

it is nothing but pure 70s pop bliss, meant to be enjoyed in the sun with a lover and a smile (a field would help too, and a convertible)

but the album version doesn't even feature anyone! it's just her, singin, dreamlover/fantasy style

yeah but i'm saying, releasing it as a single w/ T.I. on it did the song no favors. and seriously, don't compare that song to "Dream Lover" or "Fantasy," that's just wrong.

i really like 'i stay in love' but really just thinking about how the E=MC2 singles campaign has been fucked up makes me so annoyed. could've been HUGE. i don't know what kind of person would listen to the album and decide 'side effects' wasn't single material? anyway i blame 'bye bye', by the time that debacle passed there wasn't enough summer left to really max out the summer jam potential of 'i'm that chick'/'ooc'/'cruise control'
