NEW SINGLE!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D
― David R., Friday, 28 March 2008 19:44 (eighteen years ago)
Very nice. I notice Ryan Leslie has used the same type of low synth stabs on this as appear on Cassie's 'Sometimes'. Also an oddly mushy but quite pleasing kick drum sound.
― dubmill, Saturday, 29 March 2008 00:11 (eighteen years ago)
I love the electro-diva like vocals midway through especially, the part about "can you feel the beat within my heart".
I like how that part sounds like "Conga" by Miami Sound Machine!

ive tried to get into their other stuff but nothing has been as brilliant as that first single. easily one of the best songs of the past 100 years. ;)
― titchyschneiderMk2, Sunday, 30 March 2008 22:02 (eighteen years ago)
I wish their The Musical album would come out already, I mean :
It's been like 3 years of flop singles and pushbacks... just put it out already! Record labels are so dumb.

The squiggly, phasered synth line is about 45 kinds of perfect.

― lex pretend, Friday, 9 October 2009 07:38 (sixteen years ago)

― titchy (titchyschneiderMk2), Friday, 9 October 2009 07:58 (sixteen years ago)
not an unreasonable assertion
― The Reverend, Friday, 9 October 2009 08:19 (sixteen years ago)
move ya body is like the 00s' swing my way or my boo.
― titchy (titchyschneiderMk2), Friday, 9 October 2009 08:21 (sixteen years ago)
yeah, pretty much (although "Swing My Way" kind of passed me by)
― The Reverend, Friday, 9 October 2009 08:43 (sixteen years ago)
im sort of the same about all three songs, like if you dont like those, then you basically suck.
― titchy (titchyschneiderMk2), Friday, 9 October 2009 08:58 (sixteen years ago)

Wayne Marshall blogpost re their love of freestyle
― curmudgeon, Friday, 20 August 2010 14:54 (fifteen years ago)
yeah, i sometimes like to imagine a parallel pop universe where the freestyle revival actually happened like it was threatening to a few years ago, instead of the gross electro swerve pop took instead. and it would of course be led by nina sky and cassie.
― لوووووووووووووووووووول (lex pretend), Friday, 20 August 2010 15:04 (fifteen years ago)

me and my gf and Brainwasher saw them last summer. It was fun except for the weird, unnecessary covers of "All of Me" and "Pony"
