I AM the only one who bought his remix of 'Cish Cash', aren't I?

R.I.M.A. (Barima), Wednesday, 21 July 2004 15:12 (twenty-one years ago)

Snrub: basically I just found put from this Swiss dude on soulseek that there are two Dima eps out! Yay yay yay wow.

Barima: !!! Are there any lists of what he's done, anywhere? All this pseudonym stuff totally throws me.

Gregory Henry (Gregory Henry), Wednesday, 21 July 2004 15:23 (twenty-one years ago)

www.discogs.com

He remixed Basement Jaxx under the Vitalic moniker.

Barima Chk-Chk-Chk (Barima), Wednesday, 21 July 2004 15:31 (twenty-one years ago)

Eagerly awaiting the new single. Anyone know the title?

stevo (stevo), Sunday, 29 August 2004 21:25 (twenty-one years ago)

oh c'mon, someone must know.

stevo (stevo), Tuesday, 31 August 2004 17:54 (twenty-one years ago)

A reliable source tells me VITALIC will be overwhelming my iTrip's crappy circuitry very soon.

He's releasing a whole new album soon right? If I read vitalic.org correctly anyway.

Lukas (lukas), Wednesday, 1 September 2004 01:30 (twenty-one years ago)

Oops: andrew m. - "next record"

Lukas (lukas), Wednesday, 1 September 2004 01:32 (twenty-one years ago)

The release in September is an EP through PIAS. Assume the album's gonna follow later on the same label...

Mil (Mil), Wednesday, 1 September 2004 02:29 (twenty-one years ago)

I can't wait.

Ronan (Ronan), Sunday, 5 September 2004 11:03 (twenty-one years ago)

Last night Uncle John Peel played a track from the new 12". The title was probably 'Fanfare 1'. More 'banging techno madness' about 5 minutes long, 136 bpm, lots of familiar Vitalic flourishes, crashing symbols, sirens going off etc pausing for Synth-noir section in the middle, difficult-to-understand vocals in the background. Not sure I'll love this as much as anything on the Poney EP but really looking forward to the album. Anyone know what the release date?

Gravel Puzzleworth (Gregory Henry), Friday, 26 November 2004 08:10 (twenty-one years ago)

lots of mislabels (there is no Felix Da Housecat remix of "You Prefer Cocaine"), some bonafide remixes. See discogs.com for a comprehensive discography.

ugh. "everything is ok" (if it was labeled correctly) is melting my mind. i almost can't stand how slammin it is. also, i have a new theory: vitalic prefers cocaine! you know it's true!

andrew m. (andrewmorgan), Wednesday, 22 December 2004 17:03 (twenty-one years ago)

a quik trip to the dancefloorkillers site reveals that the track currently melting my mind is "absolut." what a killer.

andrew m. (andrewmorgan), Wednesday, 22 December 2004 17:15 (twenty-one years ago)

a dancefloor killer even

andrew m. (andrewmorgan), Wednesday, 22 December 2004 17:47 (twenty-one years ago)

Frankenstein On Ice (blueski), Thursday, 23 December 2004 00:12 (twenty-one years ago)

it's pretty much the new album, with a weird encore and a tiny version on La Rock. + if you listen close you can hear me screaming wo-aaoaoao-ye-eah and whoopin' at the end of the session. everyone came out to dance

nick.K (nick.K), Thursday, 23 December 2004 00:16 (twenty-one years ago)

I really hope Vitalic is the savior everyone seems to think he is...

Spencer Chow (spencermfi), Thursday, 23 December 2004 00:17 (twenty-one years ago)

DJ Martian (djmartian), Thursday, 23 December 2004 00:21 (twenty-one years ago)

Frankenstein On Ice (blueski), Thursday, 23 December 2004 00:23 (twenty-one years ago)

Frankenstein On Ice (blueski), Thursday, 23 December 2004 00:23 (twenty-one years ago)

This mix is very exciting! I'll try to save the stream. Radio1 stuff is usually up for a week, yes?

Spencer Chow (spencermfi), Thursday, 23 December 2004 00:26 (twenty-one years ago)

DJ Martian (djmartian), Thursday, 23 December 2004 00:28 (twenty-one years ago)

pete b. (pete b.), Friday, 7 January 2005 09:23 (twenty-one years ago)

Where is he playing next week? I saw that he was on at Bugged Out on the 22nd and was thinking about going.

Alba (Alba), Friday, 7 January 2005 09:28 (twenty-one years ago)

Also does anyone have any knowledge when the Vitalic album will be released?

DJ Martian (djmartian), Friday, 7 January 2005 13:30 (twenty-one years ago)

March.

JoB (JoB), Friday, 7 January 2005 13:53 (twenty-one years ago)

And the title is...?

DJ Martian (djmartian), Friday, 7 January 2005 13:56 (twenty-one years ago)

Alex Gopher, Etienne De Crecy and Jo Jo De Freq as well on the 22nd? I'm there. Alba, you should definitely come, Ronan too.

Matt DC (Matt DC), Friday, 7 January 2005 14:11 (twenty-one years ago)

Ronan's in Barcelona, apparently.

Yes, let's all go apart from him.

Alba (Alba), Friday, 7 January 2005 14:28 (twenty-one years ago)

Stevem On X (blueski), Friday, 7 January 2005 15:00 (twenty-one years ago)

coming out? it's been out for 3 or 4 months!

Ronan (Ronan), Friday, 7 January 2005 15:13 (twenty-one years ago)

I really love "vitalic ou qoui" as a site name.

Gravel Puzzleworth (Gregory Henry), Friday, 7 January 2005 16:23 (twenty-one years ago)

sadly i can no longer make the 22nd :-(

toby (tsg20), Friday, 7 January 2005 17:09 (twenty-one years ago)

my humble prayer

please, god, let me come into a fortune over the next week or so. i need to be able to quit my job and get a plane ticket so i can go on uk tour with this bald-or-balding ukrainian-born dude as his roadie. he's kinda like you, god. you'd like him!

andrew m. (andrewmorgan), Friday, 7 January 2005 17:48 (twenty-one years ago)

it's been out for 3 or 4 months!

ergh, i had a feeling you were going to say that. there was a thread but i don't think anyone's talked about it since the release then.

Stevem On X (blueski), Friday, 7 January 2005 18:15 (twenty-one years ago)

damn that recent dj phatty mash of larock01 and peaches' "rock show" is annoying.

andrew m. (andrewmorgan), Tuesday, 11 January 2005 21:36 (twenty-one years ago)

Bugged Out anticipation - get in!

Captain GRRRios' Giggletits (Barima), Wednesday, 12 January 2005 10:33 (twenty-one years ago)

I want his set to be so mindfuckingly intense that by the end I am now longer capable of speech or movement. Actually, scratch that, I don't want to be able to SEE.

Matt DC (Matt DC), Wednesday, 12 January 2005 12:50 (twenty-one years ago)

If it's even half as good as OK Cowboy I think we've pretty much got the album of the year locked up.

Mr. Snrub, Saturday, 26 September 2009 03:04 (sixteen years ago)

it's not a horrible album, it's just...diminishing returns on the same old. "inessential" rather than awful.

lex pretend, Saturday, 26 September 2009 09:22 (sixteen years ago)

naw it's good

cutty, Saturday, 26 September 2009 21:44 (sixteen years ago)

two years pass...

ok. "no more sleep" got shared somewhere. from new album, Rave Age. um. first time i listened i hated. it's about as hamfisted as the album title, which is like Disco Very's stupid brother. almost softened on it after 2nd listen, but i really just think he's a lost cause. wish he'd prove me wrong. or do i even care? nah.
