but yeah i can't hate on JB's first album, it had some jams. do any of y'all remember some weird hip hop industry special on VH1 in like early 2004 that had a bunch of segments about Budden working on his 2nd album and trying to come back quick after the first undersold? shit was funny then but i'm sure it'd be hilarious now.

imo budden in that pic is funnier than ortiz but really it's the whole package that makes it work. i know it's not like JO is a real hardcore cat to begin with but he doesn't have to be for that to be funny.

ok so the first time you hear this you'll be like "cool sample but the rapping is just ok & they could have freaked the beat better" but at least if u are me you will keep coming back to it anyway -- maybe its just how good the sample is but im coming around on his non-rapping rapping
