The Juan MacLean (RFI)

Not sure if I'm really so into Nancy Whang's vocals these days...

Especially since there's been so much great vocal house and pop dance music this year.

Yeah I'm not a fan of her voice at all, I actively dislike the Classixx song she appears on. She works well on Happy House because it's largely confined to soundbites that enhance the rest of the track ("you are so excellent", "launch meeee intooo spaaaaace") but most of her more song-based appearances don't really work for me.

That said, Tonight is probably my favourite Juan Mclean song, although she's heavily treated on that.

I'm so into her voice voice. I could listen to an album of Nancy Whang. The Classixx song wasn't really great imo. I think the lyrics to this one are pretty wack, but it's enjoyable listening.

Sorry. I got the Classixx song "All You're Waiting For" confused with Juan Maclean's "You Are My Destiny".

I like the Classixx joint and the other Juan track from this year a lot, not sure about this one. But I would be so down with a Nancy Whang album.

I like this a lot - the early 90s piano house vibe is awesome. Reminds me of Edward's World's "Soul Roots".

love everything I've got of these guys, but find sorting through house music in general tiresome and bewildering. did not like the Studio stuff I heard. what else is out there that's like this?
