I think I still love these more than anything from the second, although it is relatively close. Both of these are arguably more fizzy than anything off WITW though, so, they win, for me.

I finally tracked down a copy of 'Lycanthropy' and now concur with Alex in Doncaster. 'Wind in the Wires' is still great but I think I prefer the demonic shriekfests and skittery beats, thanks.

And yes, he is annoyingly pretty.

five months pass...

reviving this thread because i periodically fantasize about patrick wolf's feet dangling off the edge of my bed, and because his new album, the magic position, is due out hopefully soonish. i'm going to go ahead and make what i think is the first joke about this album title, in that i would gladly find the magic postion with him. har. i can't wait to hear it. i hope he isn't gay so i can at least slightly more realistically pretend i could someday live in a castle in ireland with him or something, but if he's gay that makes him even more wonderful somehow.

the more i listen to both lycanthropy and wind in the wires, the more i love them.

Also there's a particularly badly-worded post on his messageboard from his management stating in no uncertain terms that he IS NOT DYING and that fans should stop their sensationalist speculation because he IS NOT DYING.
