DEATH OF THE PRODIGY SINGLES

Oooh too hard. I've got a few days to decide between:
- Out of Space
- No Good (Start the Dance)
- Voodoo People

For some reason "No Good (Start the Dance)" strikes me as being one of the best titles for a song ever.

I got to admit I've not heard anything after 1996, but up until then it's def. amazing. Still hard to top the stuff that eventually became Experience (in one form or another) though.

That remix of "Wind It Up" is kind of awful, though.

'No Good (Start the Dance)' by a huuuuge margin. Whenever I put that song on, I end up listening to it on repeat at least 10 times.

The person who says "I voted for 'Hotride' and I don't care who knows it!" is taking a much braver stance IMO (ps I do like the song, it's just... well, THAT'S your favorite single by them, compared to everything else??? wau).

Was it really from 91? I know Charly was, but I remember EITP as being early 92.

EITP was released in December '91 in the UK but there was the original version (different to the one everyone knows) earlier that year also.

'The Way It Is' and 'You Will Be Under My Wheels' are the best tracks on the album but dunno if they would've worked better as singles. glad the Liam G one wasn't put out at least.

I wish someone would release a dance album as seemingly underground and nasty as Music For A Jilted Generation. Somehow when I was about 14 and it came out, it sounded so volatile, scarey even but in a good way.

jon, the video is based on the government warning cartoon of the track's namesake which was always shown on Sunday morning children's TV from the 70s up until about the time the track started getting famous.

I've realized, one of the reasons I love "One Love" so much is that metallic thump on beats 4 and 1

I'd repoll this with the Invaders Must Die singles but let's face it, no one is voting for any of them (even though "Omen", "Warrior's Dance" and "Take Me To The Hospital" are all great)

Seemed an appropriate thread to bump just to note the oddness of seemingly all versions of 'Wind It Up' having been removed from Spotify including its listing on all Experience editions where it's not even just an unplayable track in faint text but completely gone from the tracklist.

very weird, especially since "your love" still starts with a "wind it up" vocal sample. spotify's "experience" is also missing "hyperspeed" and "charly"
