With that last one my ears pricked up, because no ways was it Daft Punk. High voice, no accent. It sounded like Spike Jonze, actually.

100% of the noises on this record just make me want to spin up christopher cross, steely dan and hall+oates with a splash of ye olde weather report - or one of those curated "disco rarities!" 2CD comps from 2005because any of those would be an improvement - and the worst part is that I feel certain that DP intended for me to feel that way - which is also kind of hilarious and awesome in the OK HA HA YOU GOT ME sense
