yeah I guess if I open voting for about or under 2 weeks starting this week, and roll out results for both polls in the 2nd half of June, that would work?

I can't do the Clash until next week, but I'm happy to do it then.

I haven't asked a hoy hoy if he minded an artist poll running concurrently with Motown; hope I'm not stepping on his lines. It just seemed like a good opportunity to drop some other poll action into the mix this month. Much as I love Motown, I can't imagine listening to nothing but for 3.5 weeks, big discography or no.

I'm happy for artist polls to run. Especially Jay/Neptunes! I was listening to the Dynasty album on the way to work, I'd be v excited to revisit even more.

i kept voting for New Order open for 10 days, i think it worked perfectly.

I'll be abroad for the first couple of weeks of July, but I'll be back home by July 21st... And I still have a couple of weeks of vacation after that, so I think I could do the poll then. Is that okay with you? I could start the nomination thread this week, and then the voting would start around July 22nd...

No objections from me...Motown voting goes till the start of July, disco voting could go till the start of August (or whenever) and then Stax till the start of September. In between we can have whatever artist polls are at the front of the queue.

love those sorta vaguely multi-artists polls like that, was glad that new order poll was solely new order (esp since you would've had some ppl who would've voted only joy division ballots) but am slightly curious what the results look like w/ everything (joy division, new order, electronic, monaco, revenge, 'out of control', whatever) included.

Tarfumes has Coltrane @ 82, so you'll get Bauhaus etc @ 83. xp

I'd really like to try Dire Straits/Mark Knopfler, but tbh I fear for its prospects

I put that hair metal poll on hold because I was busy surrounding the birth of my daughter. Wonder how old she'll be when my turn comes up. : D

I like how some of these have me bouncing with excitement to do a ballot, and some have me bouncing with curiosity for the results because I don't have a clue what the top 20 would even be, much less what order they'd be in.
