i think the worst part is reading other message boards where dudes are defending asher roth like "you havent heard his DEEP VERSES yet youve only heard the pop crossover stuff" & then they mean verses like that one from the video i posted

yeah "generation lost" is really good

slow crawling monolithic synth anthem w/ a whiney chorus, soulja boy says "whats up whats happenin" on his song, it was the first thing that came to my mind for some reason

also thought "turn my swag on" was produced by drumma boy

i don't think he did. "What's Up, What's Haapnin" is pretty fun imo.

ya idk "whats up whats haapenin" always seemed like 8 mins long to me - i like t.i.'s singing voice usually but the way he draws out that hook plus how slow the verses are is almost torturous to me

the video makes it way more entertaining than it would otherwise be, i think

"Turn My Swag On" just hurts my ears, all hyperbole and cultural baggage aside Soulja Boy really does have an unpleasant voice
