Much prefer the dude who played Sumner in 2002 to the one in Closer.

ICB was in my top 20. Not my favourite thing on Movement, but close.

Movement got its first wide non-import release in America in 1992, so when I heard "ICB" without prompting on the college station I wasn't sure whether it was New Order or mimickers. It thrilled me to learn there was another album I needed to own.

Yeah I have this problem too, apart from Your Silent Face and Age of Consent I can never remember the songs I like.

Happy with the albums results, I've never understood the Movement love but can't argue with that top three.

I'm glad Waiting For The Siren's Call made it but was hoping it would a little higher. I think it's one Barney's best vocals and as I mentioned in the voting thread the "How many times can I lose my way" bit is one of my favourite New Order moments.

Weirdo was one of only three songs I voted for on Brotherhood, it's a good album but not really full of big highlights (apart from the obvious two)

Ruined in a Day should be higher, beautiful song with great production. Not sure which other songs (apart from Regret) will make it in from Republic, hopefully World and maybe Everyone Everywhere.

I dunno. Brotherhood's the album to play to people who still think NO are a dance act; once you start, "Broken Promise" and "Way of Life" become unassailable.

Just watching the BBC radio 1 TV broadcast from 1983. Temptation is the only one Barney doesn't royally screw up. I remember staying up till 2 or 3 am in the hope they would show the Love Will Tear Us Apart vid. Oh the days before the internet....

I expected this would place higher, being one of their most-requested songs at gigs.

Sunrise was one of the last songs I cut from my ballot. I voted for six out of the eight songs on Low-Life in the end.

I wonder if anything off Technique will actually miss out? Guilty Partner came last in the Technique poll a few years back.

It was the least immediate track on Technique for me, but I've grown to like it. It fits well as a closer to side A.

Beautiful sleeve on Touched. It wasn't released as a single in America so we had to get it on the BM88 12". It's the best side of that single.

so the heavy metal band parody video of touched has something to do with the movie salvation? I never did get around to watching it.

I've always really liked Touched By The Hand Of God; it's not in my top twenty but it seems kind of slight and I like that! Isn't there a story about Tony Wilson saying this had a chorus so was lame, whereas Blue Monday never did so was awesome? Tried to find something on google but nothing much comes up.

Oh, And I have the 45 for this as well. It may even be the first New Order I bought. Hmm.
