Techno/House Bobbins of the past

Is that russian record for real? Too good to be true! Like when everyone discovered Black Devil and was convinced it had to be fake.

There are loads of releases, got one on the way. It also doesn't sound too dissimilar in terms of sound palette to stuff like Alexander Robotnick and other italo from 83-85. Although most of that stuff is more song-based, and this is more tracky in some ways because of the context as a rolling backing to excercise.

I can imagine those instructions are very off putting to enjoying the music if you know the language.

Yeah, the Russian thing doesn't sound so unusual for its era that you'd suspect it's a fake... Especially compared to that Indian disco album that was reissued a few years ago, the one that sounded like acid house (complete with 303s) but was released in 1982. People thought that was a fake too, but I think it was genuine...?

I know a lot of music of that area sounds like that, I have most of those records, it's just such a perfect story that it seems to silly to be true.
