Anticipation threads like this one would be a lot more enjoyable if they could be locked for 3 months, starting the second it stops being anticipation.

if i were the person at apple who authorised the enormous amount of money presumably required to secure a streaming "exclusive" i would at least hope that this wasn't the case..

xpost to alfred. i like hearing ppls' "snap judgements". reminds me of college "listening parties" of albums that leaked, where people would start giving opinions about the record halfway through the first track, comparing it to the bands' previous efforts, etc. what life's all about.

Whoa, for all the flack that Julian Casablancas and Panda Bear got at first in this thread they are amongst the best contributions in here.

Also: this is a really weird album. Ditto the sentiment that this seems more like a summer album for ilxor rather than the real world. Lots of obscure, nerdy influences all around.

the most interesting thing about this so far for me is why only the vocalists get an official featuring credit, not rodgers/moroder etc

the track is called GIORGIO by MORODER how much more credit does he need
