yeah i really wanted this video to just be them on a motorbike for the whole song. the chemistry between them in the video is kinda cute tho, especially miguel's kind of incredulous/thrilled expressions as mariah dances for him in the barn

I have liked all of the singles so far and I think this might be the best yet? Or maybe it's just that the beat is so extroverted.

Mariah has the best "I ain't even trying" singing voice at this point.

I've only heard "GTFO" but it's good! Pairs nicely with Toni's "FOH"

"gtfo" is cute but was practically built to have a short shelf life. meanwhile "with you" despite obviously fitting comfortably into a well-worn mariah-song mold continues to sound better the more i hear/play it

I've been waiting for so long for someone to sample that exact part of "Crush On You" and I'm so glad it was Mariah who did it

this is a really good interview that goes deep into her songwriting (though it's an hour long so i ripped the subtitles to read it as a transcription instead lol)

This has just basically come out of nowhere for me to all of a sudden be one of my favourite albums of the year. "The Distance" and "Stay Long Love You" are so good. And the outtros to "Giving Me Life" and "8th Grade"!!
