some of the other tracks aren't as great but i mean this thing bangs front to back in what feels like 20 minutes

i'm not really a lyrics guy but the lyrics to both 'rat a tat' and 'save rock n roll' vibrate a chord w/n me so much

the album feels like both an elegy and a paean to losing their youth

i think 'folie a deux' was the former... this album is just really energetic and ecstatic about moving forward imo

hmm, maybe i'm just too colored in by 'rat a tat', which seems to be about loving like you're 16 when you're actually 30

thats the new avril single, which also bangs

i definitely like how the album ends -- Elton by far the best stunt casting on an FOB album yet

yeah, am reaaaalllly feeling Save Rock N Roll now, that chorus hook hits like a hammer

imo The Phoenix thru Just One Yesterday is pretty perfect -big sean kills the momentum

"young volcanoes" video really kind of gave the song a whole new tone for me, in a good way (though i liked it already). i just hope they do videos with Elton and Courtney in them.

Finally got a hold of this album in the last week or so and pretty much no matter what else I listen to, this is what gets stuck in my head.

PAX AM DAYS is a hoot, fun to hear them 'return' to a style they never made a record with to begin with, love how Stump is just not holding back or simplifying his singing at all and still just belts everything
