listening to the radio is impossible now. the other day "suit & tie" was on one station so i had to switch it, only to hear "mirrors" on the next one. so i switched that one to a third station, which was also playing "suit & tie". all my other presets were on commercials so i gave up and popped in a cd. life is tuff.

heard a DJ mix Jay's "Suit & Tie" verse with the uptempo part of the song -- whole song really should've just been that beat

JT is the least of my worries turning on the radio right now. What a hellscape.

I made myself a mix where I took the slow parts and just sped them up at twice the speed, so that they were the same speed as the rest of the song. It was pretty great, though it did make it sound like the chorus was being sung by the Munchkins at the beginning.

I liked "Stay" fine as an album track but there's no reason I need to hear it by its lonesome.

"stay" is dull dreck, as is "mirrors". i guess "stay" is slightly worse but it's hardly an edifying battle

the other day i was at the dollar store and this little girl said to her older sister she was like "I hate this song" (referring to stay) and the sister was like "waht? this is a good song"

I came to the conclusion today that my two favorite (non-deluxe/bonus) songs on this album are the last two.

mirrors is one of the best songs of the year imo. i think i might prefer the radio edit because the last minute or two of the full version is a bit tedious.

i didn't know that was the next single! i liked the song when i heard the album, interested to hear what the edit sounds like

i dunno if the label will be officially working it (maybe just to urban radio?) or if a local station just picked it up. they just stop it at the obvious point where the 'outro' starts.

"Mirrors" is moving up the charts. Wonder if payola still works its mojo.
