I can't be alone in loving what he does on the new J Cole single...

i like that he makes the most of his very tiny half chorus by singing it a distinctly different way every time, but honestly the song would be just about as good without him on it, feels almost like a perfunctory 'let's add an R&B singer to this song even though it already has a hook' move.

i like r&b singers used as accents on rap songs, so i'm into it

that's a really great song but i've never 100% warmed to the beat

"power trip" is fine but i think it's ridiculous that it gets so much more respect than "nobody's perfect"

His bit on Talib Kweli's "Come Here" is good as sung verse but man are the verses pedestrian on both sides.
