yeah but i mean it is cool when he goes on tv and wins over some of the kelly clarksons of the world -- album is still a ways from going gold, would be great if his fanbase keeps growing

i really like that he continues to experiment and stretch his songs into new shapes but i was making a screwface at him for most of that "how many drinks" performance

ha this performance is hilarious. would probably come off better as a cool surprise 50 minutes into a set, or even as a tag at the end of the "Adorn" performance, but hey it's SNL, he got two songs, he wanted to take a risk with the 2nd one, might as well do it there since he wouldn't get to on the Tonight Show or w/e.

yeah...after he went to work on alicia's album and ended up w/ a solo cut with her backing vox, it's increasingly hard to really predict what his work w/ mariah or beyonce will sound like, especially since he hasn't even really done a duet w/ any female singer at this point, has he? will he cave to pressure to give people the "adorn" knockoff they probably want, throw a curveball, etc.
