Could have been worse. Lamar's verse is pretty unobtrusive, and he adds a nice little hook in the middle there. Better than the Wiz/Big Sean/B.o.B alternatives

That rock version clatters a bit in the last third, but, man, is his voice actually getting stronger each time out?

I kinda hated what the guitarist was doing during the first couple verses but everything else was fantastic

Stuck "Miguel snl" into twitter and saw many tweets from women hailing Miguel, many tweets from middle-aged white guys saying either who is Miguel or bashing his performance, and a fair amount of folks just saying "hey this guy is kinda like Prince."

yeah but i mean it is cool when he goes on tv and wins over some of the kelly clarksons of the world -- album is still a ways from going gold, would be great if his fanbase keeps growing

i really like that he continues to experiment and stretch his songs into new shapes but i was making a screwface at him for most of that "how many drinks" performance

feels like a disappointing choice of single for several reasons in any case

ha this performance is hilarious. would probably come off better as a cool surprise 50 minutes into a set, or even as a tag at the end of the "Adorn" performance, but hey it's SNL, he got two songs, he wanted to take a risk with the 2nd one, might as well do it there since he wouldn't get to on the Tonight Show or w/e.
