i think Kanye, lil wayne, of montreal, and MGMT will chart. i would think that the stienski retrospective would, but am not entirely sure. would love to see harvey milk or wetnurse make it. torche probably will.

I myself expect the Harvey Milk album to be in it somewhere between 30-21

We know there's strong favourites for the top ten, but with surprising entries so far in the top 50, I expect 30-21 should be fun before the consensus picks kick in later.
Surely there will he some hip-hop albums due as well. Young Jeezy will make it.

hey i love marnie and i still thought it was weird she was on the metal poll. she's as noisy as a lot of stuff on there, and has some prog in her dna, but not anything that registers as metal with me. but whatever, any appreciation of marnie is ok. (i'll save my full range of encomiums for if she shows up here.)

and if jeezy makes this poll, i'm guessing he'll be in the 20-30 range. (be happy if he's higher, but also a little surprised.)

Nick B, a guincho (GEEN-cho) is a bird native to the Canary Islands, where El Guincho the artist is from. Not a canary though, as the islands were not named for that bird, but rather dogs, as in "canine"

I listened to that first Paavoharju clip...it's genuinely interesting, in a way completely different than most supposedly 'interesting' music which usually = stupid + boring...I'm a bit hesitant, though, to say that this is something that I could fall in love with...
