it's getting to the stage where it's a real shame she's just dropping tracks of this quality randomly and individually, "empty room" and "movie" in particular are pretty stunning, could've made for a pretty great stopgap mixtape/EP

yeah it'll be interesting to see if these get collected in any official/retail form, i wonder if this is like Whiteout where it's stuff all done after the album that she's impatient to let people hear.

i've only been paying cursory attention but i think some of them have been old old stuff, from the a telltale heart era or before, and maybe others are just stuff she's been doing recently that she feels won't fit on to blackheart...

i think it was insinuated on her tumblr that some of these are actually *old* tracks

mmm this is not what i was really expecting or wanting

the danity kane reunion rumours floating around are odd, it really doesn't seem to fit in with dawn's uh ~branding~ and she's still talking about the trilogy?

honestly if they just want to do something together without diddy telling them whether they're a group or not just because they want to i think that's kind of sweet.

oh don't get me wrong i'd be very pro a DK reunion, i was a fan! i just don't really see how it would fit in with dawn's solo career unless it was just, like, a one-off single?

that seems like a weird question given how much music she's released in the space of a year recently

BlackHeart is out October 7, 2013. Apparently she's working with an entirely new team and according to her Twitter, there are no collaborations with Druski on the album at all...

The Riot/Northern Lights video is also cancelled due to a change in team... Not sure what's up. But things seem to still be moving forward.

are the stray tracks that have come out in the last few months Druski productions? it'd be such a shame if those never end up on an album or EP.

And seems odd to hear this news just days after Druski released a new song with her vocals.

i mean it's arguably smart to have the possible total of rewards exceed the goal but it's by no means a necessity

I get that people can donate without getting a reward or you can just send out extra rewards anyway, but I'd guess that having some reward (even a free album download) would be a better incentive when you have a pretty ambitious goal?
