"Blu Ray Way" is one of the most underrated Beatles song ever...

When I read a story about this thing, I take whatever is said, especially if it's by Neil, and I add a "not" in front of it.
But I want to believe.
― Euler, Tuesday, 22 July 2008 21:06 (seventeen years ago)
I'll believe it when it's in my hands

so is there really not going to be a plain old CD release of this? i see amazon has the blu ray and dvd versions ... both of which i can't afford or listen to.
― tylerw, Friday, 31 October 2008 16:49 (seventeen years ago)
lol @ $300. I know Neil is in his own world, but I can't imagine this is a good time to release music with that price tag. I hope there's a CD set, b/c I'd like to buy this, but Neil must have some idea how this stuff will work out otherwise in 2009.
― Euler, Friday, 31 October 2008 17:48 (seventeen years ago)
Dudes its not even Blu-Ray, Blue-Ray. Neil is WORKING ON NEW TECHNOLOGY TO MAKE THIS AWESOMELY AWESOME AND WORTH $300.

Don't worry, Neil Young has a winning economic plan that ties in with the Archives.

He and Joni went back to Spotify last year (or before that?) when their exclusive rights to Joe Rogan ended.

The important thing is that Archives III had been blocked from non-NYA streaming in favor of a sampler (shades of some of the bigger Dylan Bootleg boxes).

I read a couple posts on the Hoffman forums which were not entirely pleased with the new mix on Mirror Ball , but more that were thinking it sounded pretty good. Since I’m not nitpicky, I’m not too concerned. Going to try to pick that box up this weekend since I’ve been waiting for these to show up for years. Though apparently harvest moon is the same cut as the RSD release from a few years ago.
