"1991" is alright, the only other AZB song i have time for

it definitely seems like she's still pretty beloved by a certain types of basics out there, imo

true but he's pretty unique in that regard, and 212 had more reach than purple swag. also ilx denied the existence of his fanbase for the longest time, recall deej & surboards arguing about whether or not only ny media types like him. they're comparable, and it's not like it was at all obvious asap would have a hit

the weird thing abt the stone roses thing is that she said it was her ex-tour manager conspiring with the stone roses to soundcheck during her set, not possibly that....the stone roses are completely oblivious and just soundchecking because they are the stone roses and don't even know wtf she is

i dunno if someone used to work for Banks i have no trouble believing they'd hold enough of a grudge to do that to her on purpose

Seriously, we saw her at Glastonbury with fairly low expectations and she just tore it apart, it was fantastic. But she appears not to realise that the industry isn't going to just indulge her forever.
