well yeah it is but the 1st was cdr ltd to 100 only so im not sure it was an official album..

is this the kind of guitar a stoner rock band would use?

in a way, Blood Lust distribution was not really official as well..

what world do you live in?

that guitar looks like a E335? or similar? Those are great fucking guitars and they are semi-hollow which can be pretty cool for feedback and tone IMO

actually maybe a yamaha? yamaha made some nice guitars...bigsby on it or similar bar

but basically if their guitars sound good to you, then it's a good guitar to use for a stoner band

how's life - i swear it says yamaha on the headstock? or i see a "Y" but yamaha always made guitars that emulated classic guitars, often just as good and more affordable

I think people are just shocked because Uncle Acid seem like the kind of band who would go all the way w/the heavy horror-psych exploitation refs, so it seems kinda incongruous that they don't go for the long-haired unwashed drug casualty look.

i gave Blood Lust to my brother (dude in his 40s who loves classic rock and garage/freakbeat stuff) and he was convinced they were famous people from some other band who were playing around. i didn't buy it but it was a funny enough theory that i'm a little sad it's def not true.

I guess we're "post-subculture" now huh? was kind of almost expecting this, as Cambridge isn't exactly known for its wyrdbyrds but I was kind of hoping we'd never get to see them and even live shows would obscure them and just project loads of dumb Brit horror films while they play shrouded in darkness. Who was that band 3 inches of Blood who played power metal but looked like Weezer?
