based on these 2 tracks lex linked i don't think this sounds much like quique

not sure i totally see the quique connection myself, but there is some similarity to last year's (not very good) seefeel album

Quique isn't quite the same, but adding the female vocals definitely is pushing into the same general neighborhood.

I should have played this Swans album before now, this rules

That Swans album is really impressive and I thought it was terrific when I was actually listening to it but I couldn't imagine wanting or needing to hear it more than once or twice a year in particularly horrible weather or something.

Swans of course was #3 in metal poll (which caused some consternation amongst the purists)

I can't see Goat beating Scott and Swans. I really can't.

Glad I got around to listening to The Seer before voting finished. It grabbed me straight away and went relatively high up on my list. Intense is right.

I couldn't see Farrah beating Carly Rae but here we are.
