Do spoken word intros count? Like Bowie's "Future Legend"/"Diamond Dogs", or Motley Crue's "In the Beginning"/"Shout at the Devil"? Or cheering crowd intros, like the Bay City Rollers' "Yesterday's Heroes" or the Sweet's "Teenage Rampage"?

Rush - "Anthem"Yes - "Heart Of the Sunrise"
Those two are easily the best things about their respective songs. "Anthem" might be the best intro to any album.
Def Leppard - "Women"'Heart - "Crazy On You"Voivod - "The Unknown Knows"Fugazi - "Do You Like Me?"Andrew WK - "It's Time To Party"

also on the Slumberland label, The Ropers - "You Have a Light." That band had a knack for great openings.
and for one nobody's heard, Curtain Society - "mouthwithout" ... a local (Boston) shoegazer band with a killer opening riff and powerful drum intro.

Close to the Edge -- it's like you're having this relaxing day at the beach, and the electronic seagulls are gently cooing, but then you notice this speck in the distance -- a robotic surfer riding a devastating tidal wave that is getting closer and closer
