I've played this three times and... nope, not liking it. :/

i've played this about seven times and yes i think i am kind of liking it

and yes that intro is ungainly and jay-z is unsurprisingly lacklustre but those harps! the corny horns! JT you can show me a few things.

The intro had me fearing the worst, but the song isn't bad, really. It's not that good, either, but it improves in the slow section after Jay's interminable guest verse - and for some reason the main groove sounds better when it comes back around in the mostly wordless coda. No way the album's gonna be as epochal as the last one was unless Tim has some genius new co-producer nobody's heard waiting in the wings. Still looking forward to it, cautiously.

JT and Timbo go Las Vegas. I kinda like it though, Jiggaboo and all.

i quite like that he's gone with this type of song for his big comeback, and the song itself isn't bad at all, but the intro and jay-z need to be cut out so badly

really sorry about that - pretty inexcusable - i was thinking along the lines of jigga being the huge r&b single's best friend (boo) but it came out 100% wrong.

pretty lightweight summer joint, sounds fine to me

sort of expecting something along the lines of "your drums, your love" though

I was expecting something very bad after the first reactions but I just listened to it and it's pretty smooth.
nothing amazing/big comeback but really nice.
I think this could grow on me.
anyway, I don't really see how he could have came up with something that meets the expectations after such a long time.

there was so much on Futuresex that hinted to some awesome territory for him. why can't he go further into the sound he hinted at on the title track and "sexy ladies" etc

Haha, that's probably true. I don't mind it at all though. And Jay-Z is mostly there to let the world that this is a big and important song. I think he does an alright job. No guest at all would be preferable though.
