after missing him the past two times he's come to london i'm finally going to see him on saturday with the bf

How was the London show? I didn't realise he was playing Glasgow as well tonight, fingers crossed it isn't sold out

it was pretty great, sound could've been better though - vocals not loud enough! the "quickie"/"arch & point" encore was amazing.

He did Adorn like three different times, and it was nice to hear a crowd sing it all together, but not as nice as hearing his actual voice. It was very guitar-driven, even more than I was expecting based on an album full of guitars, but his band were pretty tight and fun. I did have to laugh though when, after singing about sex and drugs and taking his top off, he put his clothes back on and gave a speech about the horrors of genocide as an introduction to Candles In The Sun. Ultimate buzzkill.

"Do You..." is a wonderful song, but it sounds really out of place and unwelcome on rap radio

Its rap and r'n'b radio, and it sounds fine

it sounds mildly out of place and very welcome imo

i started listening to this because of the year end songs poll

i can't stress how much i did not expect to hear a zombies cover on this album

really good, he's a great singer

nah frank ocean will beat miguel in albums, it's a lock

i kinda don't think Art Dealer Chic will siphon more than a couple votes away from KD? i dunno, seems like a small stubborn minority opinion.

[spoilers] I voted for ADC and not kaleidoscope because 1. 2:19 adorn 2. ...ALL 3. you can kill me if 'kaleidoscope' misses the #1 by 49 points or less

"...all" is on kaleidoscope dream. deluxe edition bonus track or something. so is "gravity"

imo "All" is a much better ending to the album than nu-"Candles". in my mind the album has 13 tracks.

i have the Target edition of the CD, which has "Gravity" and "All" but not the Wiz remix :)

Channel Orange crossed over much more than Kaleidoscope Dream, I'd think. I can imagine a lot of people who haven't heard KD (or any other r'n'b this year) putting CO in the lower half of their ballots.
