i also occasionally post on philaflava & weighed in on my opinion on the album there but like ... what does that mean? i'm not going around seeking out avenues to tell ppl they're wrong about keef on. and what's wrong w/ having a nuanced take on jordan's review? that's just normal response to criticism & certainly extends to basically any artist that we talk about

deej, if you don't like a widespread perception of you, even if you believe it's been distorted or exaggerated by other parties, at some point you still have to take responsibility for how others see you. it's all, at root, based on things you've said and done, so if you don't think their perception is fair or correct, you should think about what you say and do instead of just blaming other people. it's really the only sane way to approach the internet.

young thug 'keep in touch' is in my top ten most played this year, awesome song. I liked p much all of vol2 but wasn't feeling vol 3 as much.

yeah vol2 has joints all over the place... vol3 is spotty but still has jams and it's just generally a blast to hear that guy rap

yeah i think that's a good single

nothing else he's done is even remotely good but i won't deny that "all gold everything" bangs

usually when someone who can barely rap gets hot off one song there's some good production involved but i don't fuck with that beat at all

oh yeah the beat is cool

i think it's pretty dope... not an amazing beat but serviceable. that little raking noise is kinda cool. i actually think his rapping on that song are a big reason why the song works... i mean it's kinda crazy that dude has the hottest song in rap and the entire song is basically one long verse where he literally doesn't even rhyme. it's very post-lil b so i understand that it doesn't really crossover with the ship aesthetic.

i suppose it's too much to ask at this point that we not be little venn diagrams of taste profiles
