am i going to regret removing "don't look back" and "pussy is mine" from my ipod?

"Don't look back" gets stuck in my head a lot. This thread's critique of that song is unjustly harsh IMO. I think it's cool.

Don't Look Back felt like a weak link at first but it's grown on me. Do You still troubles me a bit, though.

i really like the verses and the bridge but, fuck, that chorus is unforgiveable

Ok it may be my least fave song on the album, but it hardly deserves THAT.

Also, the Time of the Season bit is what makes Don't Look Back, for me.

i'm prob one of the most outspoken anti-"Don't Look Back" people but i've made peace with it in that 'man i love this fucking album even the parts i don't love' way, has some nice bits.

"Do You" is amazing and if you can't enjoy saccharine reggae without thinking of the worst possible examples thereof i feel sorry for you son

really only "Candles in the Sun" doesn't occupy my brain at all

it is the most romantic song of the year for me

Ok yeah the bass is awesome

the contrast between the glistening blissed out vibe of the song and the drugs'n'bass is what makes it all work

i don't and i won't but if i were to delete one thing off this lp it'd be 'candles in the wind', p much hate that shit in any version

the keyboards and drums on the 'live' version sound so gross and depressing

removing that would also unencumber 'pussy is mine' from deep cut to light outro closer

yes this sounds incredible on good speakers so many things i missed listening through my headphones until i put this on on my computer, and these speakers aren't even THAT good

imo it's all about the interaction between the slap bass and those heavy drums. it's the rhythms of late-90s r&b but with a completely different sonic palette.
