anyone get the live show vinyl box set? i'm wondering how it sounds compared to the 5.1 on the Blu Ray.

Murphy said at the time it was the end of them as a make-an-album, tour-the-album band, that he would probably do stuff under the name in the future, and released music as LCD Soundsystem the following year iirc.

Cool maybe this time I will hear something that makes me understand why they were so big in the first place

One of my fave bands in recent memory, but why can't groups just stay broken up anymore? LCD took less time to reunite than many acts take between albums.

It does cheapen the whole Madison Square Garden thing, which now looks more like a cash grab than the emotional ending it was constantly billed as. It will be interesting to see how Murphy justifies it all.
