I may deadline surf on this one.

Remember, the recorded tracks don't have to be in until Jan. 1. I'm just asking for anyone to claim a song to record before Dec. 1.

Already have heard some of the song tracks submitted early and based on those alone, we're going to have a treat next February.

i think i've completed my contribution! woo. might fool around w/ the mixing, but it's kind of a gussied up rehearsal/basement recording, so there's only so much I can do. i may have also messed up the lyrics a little bit... who's excited?!

I managed to combine my propensities to procrastinate and overschedule into a gigantic ball of hell; I will not be able to work on this at all until after the stated deadline. I could have it done by the 15th though.

Sadly I'm not going to be able to do my contribution, due to a major computer death situation and no way to sorting out a replacement for some time. Not happy.

Or I could use my Philips PMC-100. Google it, it's a cheesy 80s classic. In fact, I might.. What connector would I need to feed sound into an iPad into Garageband?

Really? It's cheesy as fuck, makes dinky rhythm noises and farting sounds - but has an oddly powerful sequencer inside it. I bet if I shoved it through my effects pedals it could be interesting.

Never saw one of those before. Looks amazing. Use it!

rob m, just get an external audio card, plug an 1/8" jack into iPad and some sort of adapter to hook to your audio card
