I like to think there's an alternate world where Chris Brown was really shocked by his own behavior, did a lot of soul searching and therapy, and is seen as a super-nice repentant guy who only courteously addresses those who bring up an incident of violence in his past by acknowledging his shame and moves on.
I mean, I'd still probably get annoyed at his pop music, but ehhh who cares
