― J0rdan S., Friday, 23 November 2012 23:06 (thirteen years ago)
can you program your pHone to auto-cap the letter H every time
there's an app for that

"collard greens" is amazing

hope they don't push the album back any furtherhttps://soundcloud.com/topofnewyork2104/schoolboy-q-break-the-bank
― Number None, Tuesday, 21 January 2014 18:05 (twelve years ago)
and it's out there
― Number None, Friday, 21 February 2014 10:57 (twelve years ago)
under a minute into "los awesome" and i'm so hyped up
― lex pretend, Friday, 21 February 2014 11:13 (twelve years ago)
um these lyrics on "what they want" tho -_-
― lex pretend, Friday, 21 February 2014 11:23 (twelve years ago)
where is "banger (moshpit)" or was that never meant for the album?
― lex pretend, Friday, 21 February 2014 11:32 (twelve years ago)
thx for the heads up #0. This album has an impressively long wiki for something that's not out yet.
― pandemic, Friday, 21 February 2014 11:54 (twelve years ago)
a non-suga free leak of an album with suga free on it is kinda worthless
― le goon (J0rdan S.), Friday, 21 February 2014 12:56 (twelve years ago)
my version has the suga free track?
good album all in all, stop being gross about women tho
― lex pretend, Friday, 21 February 2014 13:07 (twelve years ago)
Did your version have 'gravy' the supposed clams casino one on it? I'm going by wiki here so who knows.
But the version I grabbed had 16 tracks.
Feeling the majority of beats on here.
― pandemic, Friday, 21 February 2014 13:13 (twelve years ago)
no, i got something purporting to be the deluxe edition but it's the 15-track standard edition as per wiki. already have "yay yay" off the deluxe obv so it's just "gravy" i don't have
the beats are really superb, yeah. "los awesome" is ridiculous
― lex pretend, Friday, 21 February 2014 13:15 (twelve years ago)
Come the end of the day I can tell what could have been 5 or 6 plays of this record will actually only be 2 or 3 cos I'll keep replaying track 2 'Los Awesome' instead of getting on with hearing the rest.
lol xp
― pandemic, Friday, 21 February 2014 13:17 (twelve years ago)
i'm a sucker for the strings on this
― lex pretend, Friday, 21 February 2014 13:32 (twelve years ago)
that 'Los Awesome' beat is hilarious, makes sense that Pharrell made it.
― festival culture (Jordan), Friday, 21 February 2014 14:24 (twelve years ago)
Swore that was Fred Durst singing on "Break the Bank" :(
― Evan R, Friday, 21 February 2014 16:53 (twelve years ago)
I keep hearing some annoying ad that uses the Menomena tune Q samples on There He Go, still got mad love for that despite it doing everyone elses damn head in. I like this new one, a lot less filler than on Setbacks... and the production is superb.
― xelab, Friday, 21 February 2014 17:18 (twelve years ago)
as much as i hated Habits & Contradictions, "Man of the Year" and "Collard Greens" jammed so i'm somewhat looking forward to this
― MISTERSNRUB (some dude), Friday, 21 February 2014 18:21 (twelve years ago)
I have had two listens now + really loving it, it is a different beast than Habits.. a lot darker and more of a crafted, well sequenced album experience.
― xelab, Friday, 21 February 2014 18:30 (twelve years ago)
ox y a moron is not a good chorus
― johnny crunch, Friday, 21 February 2014 20:18 (twelve years ago)
I liked HnC and thought the singles from this have been really disappointing :/
― imago draggin' (The Reverend), Friday, 21 February 2014 20:24 (twelve years ago)
This doesn't have draggy stretches like HnC, but the highs are a lot lower
― Evan R, Friday, 21 February 2014 20:32 (twelve years ago)
yea the sugar free track is terrible too
few good songs here but idk i dont really get this guy
― johnny crunch, Friday, 21 February 2014 20:38 (twelve years ago)
suga not sugar thx autocorrect for making me look herby
― johnny crunch, Friday, 21 February 2014 20:39 (twelve years ago)
There aint no Hands on The Wheel on it but I still think it is a better album than HnC. Glad to see other people liked HnC, I always thought it was mostly reviled on here.
― xelab, Friday, 21 February 2014 20:41 (twelve years ago)
i didn't really like the song w/him and raekwon which seems like a massively bad sign
― sXe & the banshees (upper mississippi sh@kedown), Friday, 21 February 2014 21:16 (twelve years ago)
"collard greens" is a really underrated single imo, really fun song
― le goon (J0rdan S.), Friday, 21 February 2014 22:18 (twelve years ago)
It was really underrated! Pretty flawless imo, love everything about it
― lex pretend, Friday, 21 February 2014 23:15 (twelve years ago)
Yeah I still crank that one every time
― Evan R, Friday, 21 February 2014 23:45 (twelve years ago)
A few great tracks, mostly near the beginning, but he should never ever ever attempt sex raps/content ever. Mostly I don't find him interesting enough a character to spend most of an hour+ with.
― Simon H., Friday, 21 February 2014 23:50 (twelve years ago)
collard greens >>>>> hands on the wheel
― rap steve gadd (D-40), Friday, 21 February 2014 23:57 (twelve years ago)
this album is ehhalright
― rap steve gadd (D-40), Friday, 21 February 2014 23:58 (twelve years ago)
really don't agree with some of you people.
― xelab, Saturday, 22 February 2014 01:00 (twelve years ago)
Listening again, but I really can`t imagine how anyone could enjoy "Studio" or "Hell of a Night." There are some half-dece tracks marred by either Q himself ("What They Want," "Oxymoron") or the guest (Tyler on "The Purge").
― Simon H., Saturday, 22 February 2014 03:06 (twelve years ago)
Hoover Street is Q's most poignant work yet, some of the imagery in there seems very personal. Kinda love it as well, the beats are alltime dark.
― xelab, Tuesday, 25 February 2014 16:26 (twelve years ago)
"Studio" is my favorite song....
― rap steve gadd (D-40), Tuesday, 25 February 2014 18:02 (twelve years ago)
― rap steve gadd (D-40),
yeah I skip around a lot
― Bryan Fairy (Alfred, Lord Sotosyn), Tuesday, 25 February 2014 18:09 (twelve years ago)
i really can't get into this for some reason
― sXe & the banshees (upper mississippi sh@kedown), Tuesday, 25 February 2014 19:32 (twelve years ago)
...yeah, most of this album bores me to tears.
― Murgatroid, Tuesday, 25 February 2014 20:14 (twelve years ago)
Haven't stopped listening to this record.
― voodoo chili, Friday, 28 February 2014 16:48 (twelve years ago)

RED DOT, CHICKENPOX TYPE SYMPTOMS
― imago draggin' (The Reverend), Wednesday, 12 March 2014 03:22 (twelve years ago)
I wasn't that into "Collard Greens" until I heard it out the other night and now I love it
― imago draggin' (The Reverend), Wednesday, 12 March 2014 03:36 (twelve years ago)
It's kinda like every other SQ album in that the highs are crazy high but everything else is just ok
Hover StreetLos AwesomeGangster
A few others but honestly I need to listen more
― RAP GAME SHANI DAVIS (Raymond Cummings), Wednesday, 12 March 2014 22:16 (twelve years ago)
i like the songs i have heard on the radio from this, gotta listen to it soon
― dyl, Thursday, 13 March 2014 15:36 (twelve years ago)
Hell of a Night is perfect in it's own goofball way.
